Read the following instruction at a glance.
আমরা যদি গ্রামাটিক্যাল নিয়ম নাও যানি, আমরা কিছু সুত্র অনুসরন করে খুব সহজেই এগুলা সমাধান করতে পারি । প্রথমে আমরা  যে বাক্যে জন্ম সাল আছে সেখানে be born  বসাব , তারপর আমরা  প্রশ্নবোধক বাক্যগুলা আলাদা করব অর্থাৎ যে বাক্য গুলোর শেষে প্রশ্নবোধক চিনহ আছে  সেগুলা বাছাই করে যেটাতে ২ টা ফাকা ঘর আছে সেখানে what does –look like বসাব এবং যেটাতে ফাকা ঘরের পরেই verb+ing  আছে সেটাতে What's it like বসাব  এবং যেটাতে ফাকা ঘরের পরেই সাব্জেক্ট আছে সেটাতে what if  বসাব। would you mind  এবং What's it like যদি থাকে তাহলে যেটাতে ভদ্রতা দেখিয়ে কাউকে কিছু করতে বলা হচ্ছে এবং ফাকা ঘরের পরই verb+ing  আছে সেটাতে would you mind  বসাব।  এবার আমরা যে বাক্যগুলোর ফাকা ঘরের পরেই verb এর base form আছে সেগুলা আলাদা করে নিব তারপর যেটা আবশ্যকিয় ভাবে কোন কিছু করতে হবে বুঝানো হয়েছে সেটাতে have to/has to/had to বসাব এবং যেটাতে সাধারন ভাবে কোন কাজ করলে ভাল হবে এরুপ উপদেশমুলক কথা বুঝানো হয়েছে সেটাতে had better বসাব তারপর যেটাতে দুইটি কাজের মধ্যে একটী করা ভাল বুঝানো হয়েছে এবং সেই বাক্যে একটী than আছে  সেটাতে would rather বসাব এবং যেটাতে অতীত অভ্যাস সম্পর্কে কিছু বলা হচ্ছে সেটাতে used to বসাব। এরপর যে বাক্যটিতে নেতিবাচক এবং যেটাতে ২য় কাজটির থেকে ১ম কাজ ছোট,  সেটিই  করতে পারবেনা এরকম তুচ্ছ/ হীন অর্থ বুঝানো হয়েছে সেটাতে let alone বসাব । তারপর যে বাক্যটির উভয় clause আ একই Tense আছে  এবং কোন একটি কাজ করতে না করতেই আরেকটি  ঘটেছে এরুপ বুঝানো হয়েছে সেখানে as soon as  বসাব এ বাক্যটিতে সাধারনত প্রথম অথবা ২য় clause এর শুরুতে ফাকা ঘর থাকে এবং ফকা ঘরের পরেই subject থাকে  । তারপর যে বাক্যটিতে ফাকা ঘরের পুর্বে subject আছে আবং সেটি present form  হলে ফাকা ঘরের পর subject  এর পর verb  টি past form বসেছে অথবা প্রথম verb  টি past  পরেরটি past perfect  হয়েছে সেই বাক্যে as if/as though বসাব। এবং যে বাক্যের প্রথমেই ফাকা ঘর আছে এবং ফাকা ঘরের পরেই ox. verb আছে সেটাতে there  বসাব।

 

 

1.      Was born (জন্মে ছিলো)

ð  কোনো স্থানে/সালে জন্মগ্রহণ করা বোঝাতে।

★যেমন

 Nazrul  was born in a poor family."

 

2.      Have to/ has to/ had to(past form)

অর্থ:- (অবশ্যই)

ð  কোনো কিছু করার জন্য বাধ্যবাধকতা বোঝানোর ক্ষেত্রে।

★যেমন:

He has to follow the rules of health.

I have to/ had to go to Square Hospitals to see my friend

 

3.      Would rather (বরং ভালো)

ð  তুলনা বোঝাতে।পরে সব সময় than বসে।

★যেমন: I would rather starve than beg.

 

 

 

4.      Had better (উপদেশ বোঝায়)

ð  উপদেশ বা পরামর্শ বোঝাতে।

★যেমন:

It may rain today.You had better stay at home.

 

 

 

5.      Let alone (নিশ্চত পারবে নাহ)

ð  ভাবা ই যায় না এমন কিছু বোঝাতে।

★যেমন:

"Kaberi has never made coffees let alone.mutton chop.

6.      Would you mind (আপনি কিছু মনে করবেন)

ð  ভদ্রাতার সাথে কাউকে কিছু করতে বলা।

★যেমন:

Would you mind closing the door?

দরজাটা একটু বন্ধ করে দিবেন? / কিছু মনে না করলে দরজাটি একটু বন্ধ করে দিবেন?

 

7.      As soon as

(যখন..... তখন/ যত শীঘ্র সম্ভব/ হতে না হতেই)

ð  As sooon as + past indefinite, ---------+ past indifinite.

★যেমন:

“As soon as he reached the school, the bell rang"

As soon as they went out, it started to rain"

 

8.      As if/ as though (এমনভাবে যেন)

★যেমন:

" He talks as if/ as though.he knew everything "

 

9.      Used to (অভ্যাস ছিলো. (অতীত অভ্যাস)

★যেমন:

" I used to play cricket in the afternoon "

 

10.  It is time/ It is high time/ It is proper time.

ð  এখনই উপযুক্ত সময় বা এখনই না করলে নয় এমন বোঝাতে ব্যবহৃত হয়।

★যেমন:

" It is high time.they took a proper steps for making their village habitable.

 

11.  What if ( কী হবে/ কেমন হয়/ কী হত)

★যেমন:

" What if.Bangladesh becomes Singapore in coming decade? It will be a miracle.

 

12.  What's it like

ð  কোনো বিষয়/ ব্যক্তি/ বস্তু সম্পর্কে স্বাভাবিক ধারনার জন্য।

What's it like visiting this place in the coming summer vacation? I have never visited Kuakata.

আসন্ন গ্রীষ্মের ছুটিতে এই জায়গাটি ঘুরে দেখতে কেমন লাগছে? আমি কখনো কুয়াকাটা যাইনি।

 

13.  What does........ look like

ð  উচ্চতা, গতি, আকার, বৈশিষ্ট্য ইত্যাদি বোঝানোর জন্য। এটিতে দুইটি শূন্যস্থান থাকে,তাই কোথায় ব্যবহার হবে বোঝা সহজ

★যেমন:

" What does the hero of the film look like?

 

14.  As long as

ð  যতক্ষন ধরে/ যতক্ষন যাবত।

" We shall wait here as long as the rain stops"

 

15.  In case (যদি)

"He will not come in case the wether is bad"

 

16.  It/ There.

ð  এগুলো সাধারনত বাক্যের শুরুতেই বসে।দেখলেই ব্যবহার বোঝা যায়।

★যেমন:

“There a boy in house who was terrible."
